
Killara, Genista & Narrabeen Cottages were named after
ferries which ran from Stony point to Corinella, French Island and Phillip
Island & cruises around the Island & to Seal Rocks.
The Alvina ran from 1925 to 1933, Killara ran from 1933 to 1942, Genista
ran from 1899 to 1935 & Narrabeen ran from 1928 to 1932 before the bridge
was built in 1942
